Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manual

At AIM, we recognize that diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are not only fundamental values but also critical drivers of innovation, productivity, and organizational success. Our commitment to DEI is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves respect, fairness, and opportunities for growth, regardless of their background or identity. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives were spearheaded by the AIM EFRC Center (Figure 1) in South Carolina State University (SCSU), Clemson University, the University of Florida, and the University of Delaware. These were reflective of a broad commitment to fostering inclusivity and diversity across educational settings and research activities. These initiatives are strategically designed to cover various aspects of academic and professional development, effectively integrating DEI into the core mission of each institution.
